The Nursery Shop supports two local charities, ROSY and Young Hearts. Both charities provide advice and support to local children and their families.

We collect donations from customers instore, in return for Gift Wrapping their purchases. The money collected is split equally between ROSY and Young Hearts.

Thanks to the generosity of our customers, we have so far raised a total of £1950

ROSY is an organisation that raises an awareness of the need for respite nursing and funds to boost the extremely limited resources of the Oxfordshire's Children's Respite Nursing Team, who offer respite nursing to terminally, acutely or chronically ill children and babies in their homes. ROSY is a Support Group operating as a part of the Oxfordshire Primary Care Trusts Charity - Registered Charity No: 1091570.

Young Hearts is run by volunteers and was set up by local parents of heart children to offer a listening ear by being at the end of a phone and to make a difference in the life of a heart child and their family. We provide advice, support and information, as well as fundraising to purchase equipment for the ward or cardiac team and arrange social events for the children and their families.
